1) What fine part of the world are you reading from today?
Pennsylvania, United States
2) Which book in your stack are you most looking forward to?
The Looking Glass Wars by Frank Beddor
3) Which snack are you most looking forward to?
Nothing really. Not much of a snacker. I am looking forward to Lasagna for dinner. Hubby said he would make it so I can keep reading.
4) Tell us a little something about yourself!
I used to read all the time. Averaging about 100+ books a year but over the past couple of years I hardly ever read unless its Dewey's read-a-thon. I think its because I haven't really found any books I thought were awesome. Don't get me wrong I have read some good or ok books but nothing that has stayed with me; nothing I have found worth remembering or keeping my interest. I think if I found a set of books or series that did that I would get back into reading. If any of you have any recommendations I would greatly appreciate it. I enjoy reading the horror genre but also enjoy science fiction. I also really enjoy reading darker/alternate versions of fairy tales
5) If you participated in the last read-a-thon, what’s one thing you’ll do different today? If this is your first read-a-thon, what are you most looking forward to?
The only thing I am doing different is that instead of starting at 8am est on Saturday I am starting midnight Friday so I end at midnight Saturday. This way I don't waste Sunday sleeping as I have a lot to do.
|Here is my tbr pile for the read-a-thon. Hopefully I can read all or most of them. Also in the picture is one of my cheerleader kitties, Chessie. Waffles is the other and is nearby as well.|
