Dewey's Read-a-thon - Wrap Up & End of Event Meme

I had been looking foward to this read-a-thon but I just wasn't really in the mood to read probably because my back has been hurting a lot since I bruised it pretty bad last weekend.  I took some pain meds and decided to read from my bed which was the most comfortablest place to be. I had a very slow start but eventually picked up speed.  Though the pain eventually got worse so I stopped at 2 a.m.. When I woke up this morning there was an hour left and I used it to finish my last book.

Stats for Dewey
Books Finished:  6 - Extras, Wuthering Heights, The Adventures of Tom Sawyer, Namesake Vol. 1, Namesake Vol.2 and Carpe Corpus
Books Unfinished: 1 - Patient Zero (32/421)
Total # of Pages Read: 1465
Hours Spent Reading: 19 (Minus breaks which I didn't keep track of)
Challenges Participated in: Introductory Questionnaire, Book Spine Poetry, Book Puzzle, Best and Worst Covers,  Mid Event Survey, Turn the Page

End of Event Meme
1- Which hour was most daunting for you?
Hour 18.  I wasn't tired but my back was hurting like crazy so I didn't want to read anymore.  So I just stopped.

2- Could you list a few high-interest books that you think could keep a Reader engaged for next year?
The Uglies Series is a good series.  Harry Potter Series is good as well.

3- Do you have any suggestions for how to improve the Read-a-thon next year?
Read-a-thon as usual was great.

4- What do you think worked really well in this year’s Read-a-thon?
Everything worked well.  I had a great cheerleader!  Chris  Paton (Team Lion) stopped by my blog to cheer me on several times.

5- How many books did you read?
Despite a very slow start I was able to read 6 books.

6- What were the names of the books you read?

7- Which book did you enjoy most?
I loved Extras.

8- Which did you enjoy least?
The Adventures of Tom Sawyer  I should know by now that I don't really enjoy classics.

9- If you were a Cheerleader, do you have any advice for next year’s Cheerleaders?

10- How likely are you to participate in the Read-a-thon again? What role would you be likely to take next time?
I will definitely be participating again as a reader.
