Snowflakes for Sandy Hook

You all have probably heard of the tragic events that occurred at the Sandy Hook Elementary School in Connecticut.

I recently came across the Snowflakes for Sandy Hook through the Mom Endeavors blog.  I thought it was a nice way to support the school after such a tragedy. So I am sharing it with everyone I can in the hope that others will join up as well.

The Sandy Hook PTA is asking for your support.  They would like people to create and mail them snowflakes.  When the kids return to school it will be in a different building and they want them to feel safe and welcomed.  They want the kids to return to a winter wonderland.

This is a nice and simple way to show your support. If you have kids you can have them make a few snowflakes too.

They will need the snowflakes by January 12th, 2013. Below is the address to mail the snowflakes.

If you aren't interested in making snowflakes you can also mail them donations.

I plan to do 26 Snowflakes everyday until Friday December 28th. I also hope to get a few friends and family to create snowflakes as well or to support in some other way.
