Dewey's 24-Hour Read-a-thon is this Saturday. I am looking forward to it. My husband is going to take care of things that day so I can read. I am hoping to read more books then the last time. Hopefully 10.
Below are some of the books I hope to read. The first three books are books I have started but have not finished. I am hoping to finish them during the read-a-thon. I am including some small books as well because I have noticed from past read-a-thons that mixing the lengths of the books is better. If I only read 400 to 500 page books back to back it just gets to be too much. If I am able to read all of these books I will not be behind on my goal of reading 100 books this year. If I am only able to read 10 books then I will only be 1 book behind. Many of the books are for
challenges I signed up for at the beginning of the year as well as one I signed up for earlier this month called
Season of the Witch hosted by Michelle of
Castle Macabre; where you are to read as many witch-related books you can for the month of October.
There is still time to sign up for
Dewey's 24-Hour Read-a-thon. Good Luck to all participants!

Good luck with the readathon, I'll be popping in at least once to say hello and cheer you along. 10 books in one day - wow. I'm guessing there won't be a lot of time to read comments :-)
ReplyDeleteThank you! Good Luck to you too! Will you be reading and cheerleading or just cheerleading? I usually try to take a 10 minute break each hour to do mini-challenges, respond to comments, etc. :)
DeleteThat's a great list you got! I hope you've had a great time so far and will continue to read on!
