Spring into Horror Read-a-thon - Day 2

Today is the second day of the Spring into Horror Read-a-thon hosted by Castle Macabre.  I posted my tbr pile on Monday. Today I am participating in Oh, for the HOOK of a BOOK! challenge.

So far I have read 1 book.

Since I didn't go to bed right after Dewey's 24-Hour Read-a-thon and was up for 40 hours straight I have had a really bad headache the past 2 days.  Hopefully it will go away soon.  I am still hoping to read all the 10 books I set aside for the read-a-thon.

Currently Reading
10% Complete

During Dewey's 24-Hour Read-a-thon I finished the first book in the Alice in Deadland series and enjoyed it.  I have always been into darker versions of Alice in Wonderland.  This series is not only a darker version but it also has zombies which I love.

  1. Woot! First book down. Great job! How did you like Dracula? I really liked it. Will probably read it again someday. I would probably also like the Alice in Deadland series. I like new Alice tales. I loved Frank Beddor's The Looking Glass War series. Have you read them?

Hope your headache gets better soon. Happy reading!

    1. After Dewey's I decided to stay awake since we had to do a few things and by the time we were done with everything it was 5pm and had I gone to bed then I would have been up at around 1am which would have screwed my sleep schedule. I hate naps so I just decided to stay awake till my normal bedtime. Sounded good at the time but now not so much. lol At least today I am feeling a little better.
