Sugarloaf Crafts Festival and Rubber Stamp, Scrapbook & Paper Crafts Show

Saturday my husband and I attended two local events.  This was the first time I ever attended events like these.  Sadly both were disappointing.  Though the Rubber Stamp, Scrapbook & Paper Crafts Show was worse.  We first went to the Sugarloaf Crafts festival.  There were some nice things but most were very pricey.  There seemed to be a lot going on.  There were people selling clothing, furniture, art, jewelry, food, candy, pictures, etc.  A bad item that really stood out were these weird suits.  They were insanely colorful.  Suits for clowns??   No idea why or where anyone would wear them.  Some really nice things were Copper art where there was a particular piece that sort of reminded me on Van Gogh's Starry Night's sky, pictures of everyday items that looked like letters that were used to form words and most of the wood furniture.  The only thing we purchased was a jar of jalapeno pepper & mustard sauce.

Afterwards we headed to the Rubber Stamp, Scrapbook & Paper Crafts Show.  This one was very disappointing.  As soon as we walked in we could tell this one wasn't so good.  There were only like 6 booths.  The only items really available were rubber stamps.  There was only one that had paper products but not a whole lot and nothing unique.  I did buy some stamps but they really weren't anything special. What I really wanted to buy was unique cardstock but there wasn't any.   Very disappointing.

Now I plan to attend a scrapbooking show held in July that is supposed to be bigger and better.  Hopefully it will be.
